They came up with all kinds of variations. This particular one I have not found duplicated. I found a similar one that was advertised as gold sterling and was signed as such. This one is not. <p>Circa: 1940's. Signed using Coro in script. This signature can be found in the leaf stem. Although, difficult to read. <p>Measures app: L = 3.25" _ W = 2.5" <p> Condition: Very good (+). Nice quality with hefty weight and size. There are a couple of (tiny) spots where the gold wash has rubbed off on the back ... near the latch closer. Located at the base of the stem. Very insignificant. A little oxidation on the pinback hinge and latch. I am unsure if the catch is missing or if this was how designed. There is no catch and the pinback remains securely closed. The pinback appears to slide under the catch. So be careful upon opening. I think I may have slightly bent the pinback while trying to figure it out. <p> This is a beautiful vintage brooch that you would be proud to have in your collection.
