Item Description: Nice antique Elgin gold pocket watch with original case. The outside of the watch itself is in good condition, the front crystal is a little scratched up, there is only one hand and the top does not wind up. The outside back cover has a nice etching with a monogram in the middle. The mechanism is marked Elgin Natl Watch Co USA 18256599. The outside is either 12 or 14k gold fill, there are a few very small spots with signs of brassing but it is very hard to see. The watch measures 2.5" inches wide and the inside mechanism measures 1 5/16" wide. The case included is a purple velvet from GEO R HOLMES JEWELER ST.PAUL, MINN.
