It consists of 54 leaves between 2 dark stained boards held together with string. This is not an area of expertise for us. It is on vellum written in Ge'ez script. Writing is both in black and red. We believe it to be 19th century or possibly older. Another dealer advised that there were characteristics of 1750s but we cannot verify. There are three illustrations. The Virgin and Christ Child, St George slaying the dragon and one of nine men. The string holding piece together is quite worn. There is some more modern writing on back page and another page also has some writing. Examination tells us that possibly covers were replaced 75 or more rears ago but this is a guess. Shipping is no charge anywhere in the US. Exact cost of non US destinations quoted at close or upon prior request. It came out of a New York City estate.
