Item Description: Nineteenth Century Flow Blue Plate in the "Shanghai" Pattern (Wade). It is of English Manufacture, vintage circa 1870. A nice example of Historic Flow Blue for your collection. Size 9 7/8" across. Condition - Excellent, no chips, no cracks, no restorations, other than a professional cleaning and has normal light glaze crazing consistent with age. This plate at first appeared to me to have two resorations on the back but I have come to believe these are indeed skipped glazing in the production of the plate that I have tried to capture in my pictures.
