Item Description: This is a lovely 6 inch Waste Bowl 4 inches tall by John Alcock Cobridge in the Celeste pattern. The bowl has no chips, cracks or previous restorations. It had stress crack from crazing going around the bottom foot med. crazing and staining throughout that has been professionally cleaned and essentially restored to Excellent showcase condition. This conversion can be seen at: http://www.yankeelake.org/yankeelake_restoration_services_3_017.htm The third picture shows a glaze skip inside that was revealed in cleaning. There is a line that shows in the picture by the date marking that is very hard to see in natural light, is under the glaze and not felt with the finger nail. The mark reads that it was registered on October 5th 1846.
