Item Description: Description: Royal introduced Currier & Ives Dinnerware in 1950. It was an immediate success. The basic dinnerware was offered as a premium at A&P groceries with additional pieces for sale or redeemed for coupons or stamps. Later it was also sold at department stores. C&I dinnerware came in four colors, blue, pink, green, and brown. The blue dinnerware was produced in much larger quantities than the others and it remains the most popular.
