The actual painting measures 9" x 7", the overall size is 17" x 19.5". There is one tiny chip on the front of the frame, apart from that it is perfect.</STRONG></P><P align=center><STRONG>Georg Roessler is a well listed and highly collected artist whose pictures have sold at auction in the 1990's from $1,500 - $4,000 . This painting is well priced and it seems to be the same painting sold by Dr. Fritz Nagel's auction house in Germany in 1993, for US$4,000, though as we have no picture from catalogues we cannot guarantee this.</STRONG></P><P align=center><STRONG>Roessler specialized in scenes and portraits from the Austrian, Italian and German alps.
