Seller Support: NEW! Import Your Inventory From ebay Hassle-Free
How does it work? We have made it very easy for our sellers. Simply fill out a small form and we'll do the rest. Your active fixed-priced listings on ebay will automatically transfer to your SeeAuctions seller account.
Are there requirements? Just a couple.
1) We can only import fixed-priced items that are active listings at the time of import.
2) Your ebay listings must be above $5.00 and comply with our Seller Agreement.
3) Your non-antique/collectible items will not be imported. It's ok if you have some electronics or other non-SeeAuctions items mixed in there, we just won't import them.
Do I need an ebay store? No. We can import items from either an ebay store, or just a normal ebay account.
How long does it take? The import process will usually take between 2-12 hours, but may take up to 24 hours. You will receive an email when the import is complete.
Are there any extra features offered by SeeAuctions? Yes there are!
1) Auto-sync (optional). We will automatically sync your SeeAuctions listings with your ebay listings. This means if you sell or remove an item on ebay, it will automatically be removed from SeeAuctions, but not the other way around. Sorry.
Auto-sync should only be used if you plan on keeping your items live on both sites. If you plan on phasing out ebay and totally switching over to SeeAuctions, do not use this feature.
2) Automatic Discount (optional). Since selling on SeeAuctions is totally free, we encourage our sellers to offer a discounted price on their SeeAuctions listing. We provide the option to automatically discount your imported items by whatever percentage you want.
Final value fees on ebay range from 6-12% of the sale price for the first $1000 and 2% thereafter. When someone buys from you at SeeAuctions.com you make more money. Why not encourage your customers to buy through SeeAuctions.com by sharing your savings with them?
3) Category Mapping. We do our best to map your ebay categories into similar SeeAuctions categories. But just in case we cannot map them, we offer you a choice of what SeeAuctions category to place them in.
What happens with the following ebay-specific components?
1) HTML ebay descriptions. SeeAuctions will import html descriptions from your ebay listings. The html will transfer to your new SeeAuctions description.
2) Links to my ebay store, other ebay items. Currently, links within your ebay description will transfer onto SeeAuctions. We encourage our sellers to revise their SeeAuctions descriptions and change links to their SeeAuctions Storefront. This is not mandatory, but selling on SeeAuctions is free, so you might as well encourage your customers to buy from here!
4) Ebay calculated shipping. Currently ebay calculated shipping will not transfer to SeeAuctions. Instead, your shipping price will read "See Description". Descriptions can be revised at any time to correct the shipping price.
Is this service free? Of course it is! SeeAuctions is about helping our sellers make money, not taking it. This service will always be free.
